Marisol Collante, originally from Chile, holds a bachelor’s degree in education and is a certified Special Education Teacher. Over the past few years, she has been instrumental in developing and implementing projects that address the needs of vulnerable populations. As Program Manager at Washington United Migrant, Marisol now leads initiatives that promote the well-being and empowerment of the migrant community.

Washington United Migrant has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2025 SEED Grant from Social Justice Fund Northwest.

This support represents far more than a financial contribution. It is a recognition of the work we carry out by and for migrant communities, and a concrete opportunity to continue growing as a grassroots organization committed to justice, equity, and collective transformation. We are proud to be part of a network of groups that, like ours, are building community power and pushing for real change across the Northwest. The support of Social Justice Fund Northwest strengthens our mission to center migrant voices and move forward—autonomously and boldly—toward a more just society.

A Message from WUM
