Washington United Migrant (WUM) is honored to share that we have been selected as one of ten grantee organizations through the Sheng-Yen Lu Foundation’s Community-Led Grantmaking Project.

This recognition strengthens our ongoing work with immigrant and refugee communities across King and Pierce Counties, where we focus on culturally responsive, migrant-led programs that address urgent community needs while building long-term support systems.

This opportunity reflects a broader commitment to investing in community-based organizations that are deeply rooted in the populations they serve and are actively creating innovative, trust-based approaches to support.

At WUM, we believe that communities closest to the challenges are also closest to the solutions. This recognition reinforces our commitment to continue expanding access to resources, trust-based support, and opportunities for immigrant families in Washington State.
